Cranford Teen Charged With Drug Possession: Police
Kevin Schwartz was stopped in a 'suspicious vehicle' police said.
CRANFORD, NJ - A 19-year-old Cranford man was arrested and charged with possession of under 50g of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on June 3, according to the Cranford Police Department.
According to authorities, Patrolman John Rattigan stopped a 2013 BMW on County Park Drive when an officer identified it as a suspicious vehicle. Following an investigation on scene, Rattigan arrested the driver, Kevin Schwartz, for suspected marijuana found inside the vehicle, police said.
He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Schwartz was issued a motor vehicle summons for possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
