Driver Charged With Pill Possession: Cranford Cops

CRANFORD, NJ - A 30-year-old Irvington man was arrested and charged with drug possession after a motor vehicle stop on Sept. 2, according to the Cranford Police Department.

According to authorities, Patrolman Christopher Gross stopped a 2011 Chevrolet on North Avenue West and Lincoln Avenue West for having unclear plates. Following an investigation on scene, arrested the driver, Rahmaan Muhammad, for possession of suspected Oxycodone, Hydrocodone and Baclofen found inside the vehicle, police said.

He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for unclear plates, suspended driving and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
