Drug Arrest On Centennial Avenue: Cranford Police
Juan Ayende was caught at a DWI checkpoint, police said.
CRANFORD, NJ - A 34-year-old Kissimmee, Fla. man was arrested and charged with possession of under 50g of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on June 1, according to the Cranford Police Department.
According to authorities, Patrolman Matthew Siessel stopped a 2018 Hyundai on Centennial Avenue as part of a DWI Checkpoint. Following an investigation on scene, Siessel arrested the driver, Juan Ayende, for suspected marijuana found in his possession, police said.
He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date.

In addition, Ayende was issued motor vehicle summonses for a seat belt violation and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
