Drug Arrest On Commerce Drive: Cranford Police
Maleek Mickell was charged with possession after a motor vehicle stop, police said.
CRANFORD, NJ - A 19-year-old Carteret man was arrested and charged with possession of under 50g of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on May 24.
According to authorities, Patrolman Michael O'Neil stopped a 2002 Audi on Commerce Drive and Raritan Road for having tinted windows.
Following an investigation on scene, O’Neil arrested a passenger, Maleek Mickell, for suspected
marijuana found inside the vehicle, police said.

He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued a motor vehicle summons for a seatbelt violation, police said.
