Drug Arrest On John Street: Cranford Police

CRANFORD, NJ - A Woodbridge man was charged with possession of under 50g of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on May 20, according to the Cranford Police Department.

According to authorities, Patrolman Shayne Temple stopped a 2005 Honda on North Avenue East and John Street for a seatbelt violation.

Following an investigation on scene, Temple arrested the driver, Thomas Triola, for suspected
marijuana found inside the vehicle, police said. He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date.

In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for a seatbelt violation and possession of a
controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
