Drug Arrest On Myrtle Street: Cranford Police
Stephen Thomas was charged with possession, police said.
CRANFORD, NJ - A 21-year-old Hopatcong man was arrested and charged with possession of under 50g of marijuana and possession of a drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on May 20, according to the Cranford Police Department.
According to authorities, Patrolman Christopher Gross stopped a 2008 Jeep on Myrtle Street for a view obstruction. Following an investigation on scene, Gross arrested the driver, Stephen Thomas, for suspected marijuana found inside the vehicle, police said.
He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for speeding, a view obstruction and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
