Drunk Driver Fled Accident Scene: Cranford Cops
Laquaya Vaughn ran a red light, wasn't wearing a seatbelt and did not have insurance, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 42-year-old Roselle woman was issued multiple citations, including one for driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle crash on Jan. 13, Cranford Police said.
According to police, units were dispatched to the area of Centennial Avenue for an erratic driver who was just involved in a motor vehicle crash.
Following an investigation at the scene, Patrolman Jason D’Agostino arrested the driver, Laquaya Vaughn, for driving while intoxicated, police said. Vaughn was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date.

In addition, Vaughn was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, maintenance of lamps, a seatbelt violation, failure to observe a red traffic signal, no valid insurance card in her possession, leaving the scene of a crash, and failure to report a crash, police said.
