Drunk Driver Fled Crash Scene: Cranford Police
Barbara Bryson was driving on a flat tire when she was stopped, police said.
CRANFORD, NJ - A 51-year-old Cranford woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on May 12, according to the Cranford Police Department.
According to authorities, a 2008 Ford was stopped on South Avenue West and Lincoln Avenue West after Patrolman Christopher Gross witnessed it driving on a flat tire. Following an investigation on scene, Gross arrested the driver, Barbara Bryson, for driving while intoxicated, police said.
She was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Bryson was issued motor vehicle summonses for reckless driving, careless driving, leaving the scene of a crash, failure to report and driving an unsafe vehicle, police said.
