Drunk Driver Had No Registration, Insurance: Cranford Police

Jeffrey Locklear was stopped on North Avenue East and Alden Street.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 26-year-old Accomac, Va., man was arrested and charged with DWI after a traffic stop on Dec. 8, police said.

A 2014 Hyundai was stopped on North Avenue East and Alden Street for erratic driving by Patrolman Shayne Temple, policer said. Following an investigation at the scene, Temple arrested the driver, Jeffrey Locklear, for driving while intoxicated, police said.

He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date.

In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, an improper lane change, unclear plates, no valid registration card in his possession and no valid insurance card in his possession.
