Drunk Driver Made Illegal U-Turn: Cranford Police
Catharine Strom was charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 37-year-old Cranford woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after making an illegal u-turn, according to the Cranford Police Department.
On Nov. 30, Patrolman Shayne Temple stopped a 2016 Chevrolet on North Avenue East and the Garden State Parkway 137 Exchange for making an illegal U-turn, police said.
Following an investigation at the scene, Temple arrested the driver, Catharine Strom, for driving while intoxicated, police said. In addition, she was issued motor vehicle summonses for an illegal U-turn, careless driving, failure to observe a red traffic signal and for an unregistered vehicle, police said.

She was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date.
