DWI Charges After Cranford Crash: Police

CRANFORD, NJ - A 57-year-old Linden man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle accident on Nov. 1, according to the Cranford Police Department.

Peter Lima was arrested after police responded to a motor vehicle crash on Alden Street. According to officials, Detective Steven D’Ambola made the arrest after an investigation at the scene. Lima was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued a motor vehicle summons for improper parking, police said.
