"This is Ernie and he wanted to be submitted as pet of the week. He's an 11 year old rescued mix and we are unsure what he's a mix of. To be honest the vet wasn't even sure what he is mixed with.
His likes are long naps, eating and the Yankees. His dislikes include long walks and anything that requires a lot of effort. You can find him in Cranford sitting on the front porch as the neighborhood watch dog and he's very good at it when he's awake.

If you call his name he won't answer because he's losing his hearing but he can hear a bag of potato chips opening from over a mile away. He wanted me to add that these pictures were taken this year and that he's one young looking pup and he is single."
