The Pineda Conservatory is holding auditions for talented teen musical theater performers for an Advanced Musical Theater class to be held Thursday nights starting September 16th, from 7:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church on Terrill Road in Scotch Plains. Students participating will participate in solo and ensemble work, and the program will conclude with a performance. Class size is limited and auditioners should prepare two 16 bar contrasting musical theater selections for their audition. The staff is looking for talented, and dedicated students who are interested in improving as performers and possibly pursuing a career in musical theater. The rotating staff will include broadway performers, choreographers and s highly skilled vocal staff, with degrees in vocal performance.
