The Friends of the Cranford Public Library invite you to attend a lecture/PowerPoint® presentation by Phil Jaeger entitled “Dining With History.” The program includes New Jersey restaurants, as well as restaurants in neighboring states, that began operation as long ago as the 1700s. Mr. Jaeger will recount the origins of many notable dining establishments, and also present exterior and interior views of the restaurants as they appear today. He will also point out nearby attractions of interest and provide a directory containing contact information for each restaurant discussed in the program. This marks Mr. Jaeger’s fourth visit to Cranford, where he has also presented programs on the castles of New Jersey, the mills of New Jersey, and New Jersey’s deserted villages.
