Lecture: Comedy and the Golden Age of Radio

The Friends of the Cranford Public Library are pleased to welcome back Henry L. Morse, the Old Time Radio Man. Prior to the advent of television, comedy was one of the most popular forms of entertainment on radio. Mr. Morse will trace the history of radio comedy from its origins in burlesque and vaudeville to its decline in the 1950s. The program will feature a large number of actual audio clips.
