"Mark Twain and the General" - A One-Act Musical Drama

The Friends of the Cranford Public Library are pleased to present a script-in-hand performance of a one-act musical drama entitled "Mark Twain and the General." Performed by members of one of the state's most acclaimed theater groups, The Theater Project, the play explores the relationship between an ailing Ulysses S. Grant, as he struggles to complete his memoirs, and his friend, Mark Twain. The performance will be followed by a discussion among the writers (Jewel Seehaus-Fisher, script, Bob Butts, music), director, actors, and members of the audience. Admission is free and all are welcome.
