Mrs. Desiderio will discuss two of her novels, Hell at Sea (2007) and Reunion (2010). Hell at Sea, a meticulously researched historical novel, takes place aboard a German U-boat during World War II. Reunion, a follow-up to Hell at Sea, tells the story of one woman's face-to-face meetng with her painful past and the love, redemption and healing that ensues.
