
Tenor Salvatore Chiarelli will perform a selection of arias, Italian songs and popular standards. Mr. Chiarelli trained for the opera stage in both Italy and New York City. In 2006 he released his first CD, Due Terre, Un Cuore (Two Countries, One Heart). Mr. Chiarelli performed the lead role of Turridu in the Cavalleria Rusticana with the Brooklyn Repertory Opera and reprised the role with the West Side Opera in Manhattan. Mr. Chiarelli is currently studying voice with the renowned William Glazier in Manhattan. The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
