Exploring and Celebrating Mission Work

First Presbyterian Church of Cranford took a giant step forward in mission work when members of the congregation committed to four different mission trips starting this summer and continuing through January 2016, including a youth group mission trip to Pennsylvania, the work of a church member who traveled to Ghana; and two different mission trips to Nicaragua.

For Peacemaking/World Communion Sunday on October 4, 2015, the congregation and pastoral staff will hold a special worship service at 10am, followed by a potluck lunch in Bates Hall. The service and luncheon will celebrate God and the blessings that come from serving others, providing information on how we can help end hunger, provide potable water, foster justice and equality, build new churches and protect God’s world.
