An explosion noise reported in Cranford early Tuesday morning turned out to be a blown tire, police say.

CRANFORD, NJ — An explosion noise reported in Cranford early Tuesday morning turned out to be a blown tire, police say.
The explosion noise was reported at 6:25 a.m. in the area of the 100 block of South Avenue East.
"Turns out a dump truck blew a tire," said Cranford Detective Lt. Edward Davenport told Patch.
