Fight Childhood Cancer At Cranford Salon Sunday
Cory Mathews Salon's cut-a-thon will benefit the Valerie Fund.
CRANFORD, NJ - Patrons of Cory Mathews Salon can get a haircut and help fight childhood cancer on Sunday as part of a cut-a-thon at their Cranford and Westfield locations.
The proceeds of the event will benefit the Valerie Fund.
According to their website, the Valerie Fund's mission is to provide individualized care to children at medical centers close to home, because they believe the most effective way to heal the children in their care is to treat them emotionally, socially and developmentally, as well as medically.

The event is scheduled for noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday and is sponsored by the Cranford Police Department and Westfield PBA 90. Organizers said that patrons will have the opportunity to for raffles, food and drink and to meet New York Jets players
