Food For The Poor fundraiser at Trinity Cranford - Sat. Dec. 2nd

Bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and rings. Proceeds to benefit Food For The Poor that helps the poor in Latin American and the Caribbean.

Trinity Episcopal Church is hosting a charity jewelry sale on Saturday December 2, 2017 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM in Witherington Hall at Trinity Church, 119 Forest Avenue, Cranford, NJ. Jewelry sale items include bracelets, earrings, and rings. "Proceeds from the sale will benefit Food For The Poor that helps the poor in Latin American and the Caribbean," said Reverend Andy Kruger, Trinity’s Priest-in-Charge. "So Far in 2107 Food For The Poor has provided over 520 million meals to people in need. We hope everyone will join Trinity supporting such important life-saving work,” Father Andy continued. Food For The Poor began in 1982 in Jamaica. Today, it is an interdenominational Christian ministry serves the poor in 17 countries throughout the Caribbean and Latin America. Thanks to faithful donors, it is able to provide food, housing, healthcare, education, fresh water, emergency relief, micro-enterprise solutions and much more. More than 95% of all donations go directly to programs that help the poor. By bringing relief to the poorest of the poor in the countries where they serve, Food For The Poor strives to reflect God’s unconditional love by keeping Christ command by serving the “least of these” on this earth. Trinity Episcopal Church was founded in 1872. Trinity is a faith-based family that welcomes all people and strives to “know Christ and to make him known through faith, fellowship, and service.” Sunday services are at 8 AM and 10 AM w/music and celebrated by The Reverend Andy Kruger, Trinity’s Priest-in-Charge. In addition, from Monday to Thursday the Daily Offices of Morning and Evening Prayer are led by Father Andy in the Witherington Chapel, in the church undercroft which is accessible by outside stairs at the right rear corner of the church.
