A Staten Island man was arrested after swift coordination between departments.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 29-year-old Staten Island man was arrested and charged with burglary, theft and theft of a credit card stemming from a Monday morning incident, according to the Cranford Police Department.

The Cranford Police Department responded to three southside residences on reported car burglaries. The incidents occurred during the overnight hours on both South Union Avenue as well as Georgia Street, police said. The Garwood Police Department swiftly alerted neighboring agencies that they had arrested an individual, Angelo Spalliero, in their town for having stolen property in his possession, police said.

Following an investigation, Det. Christopher DiFabio of the Cranford Police Department charged Spalliero with burglary, theft and theft of a credit card, police said.
