Hartz Mountain To Host Meeting Tonight About Proposed 900 Apartments In Cranford
Hartz Mountain will host a public meeting on July 13 to discuss plans to build 900 apartments at 750 Walnut Avenue in Cranford.

CRANFORD, NJ — Hartz Mountain will host a public meeting on July 13 to discuss plans to build 900 apartments where the former Bank of America office space is located at 750 Walnut Avenue in Cranford. The meeting will be held at the same location.
Representatives from Hartz Mountain and members of the project development team will be on-hand to present details of the company’s proposed plan. Subject matter experts in the fields of engineering, architecture and traffic will present their topics from 7 to 8 p.m.
Following the presentation, the floor will be open to questions.

Hartz Mountain is set to appear before the planning board on July 19 at 8 p.m. To see the full application for the project CLICK HERE.
Not all residents are in favor of this proposed development. In fact Clark Mayor Sal Bonaccorso and the Clark Township Council passed a resolution on July 3 expressing Clark’s opposition to the development.

Bonaccorso and the town council have also started a petition where they are urging Clark citizens 18 and older to sign it. The petition will be available for residents to sign on July 10 and 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Room 30 in Town Hall. Bonaccorso will also be going door to door asking residents to sign the petition as well, according to tapinto.net.
