Heroin Arrest On North Avenue East: Cranford Police
Anthony Torres was arrested after a motor vehicle stop, police said.
CRANFORD, NJ - A 27-year-old Parlin man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on May 6, according to the Cranford Police Department.
According to authorities, Patrolman Gregory Federici stopped a 2017 Mazda on North Avenue East and the Garden State Parkway 137 Exchange for a seatbelt violation.
Following an investigation on scene, Federici arrested Anthony Torres, 27, respectively, for suspected heroin found in their possession, police said.
