Heroin, Cocaine, Hypodermic Needle Found In Union County

Union County Police made two arrests for possession of heroin, cocaine and a hypodermic needle on Black Friday.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — The Union County Police arrested made two arrests for possession of heroin, cocaine and a hypodermic needle on Black Friday.

Union County Police Blotter:

Cranford, NJ – On Friday Nov. 25 at approximately 12 p.m., Union County Detectives Andrew Klein, Richard Schubert and Dino Capra observed a vehicle tail gating another vehicle while driving south bound on the New Jersey Garden State Parkway. The officers stopped the vehicle near exit 137 in Cranford, and found that the driver, Garland Adams of Colonia, age 35, had a suspended driver’s license, and also charged him with possession of heroin, cocaine and a hypodermic needle. Garland Adams was transported to Union County Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after being given his court date and a copy of his charges. Adam’s received two traffic summons and three criminal complaints.

Elizabeth, NJ – At approximately 4:45 p.m. on Friday Nov. 25, while driving in the area of 900 block of Newark Avenue in Elizabeth, Officers Klein, Schubert and Capra observed a male identified as Marcello R. Allen of Union, 24, acting suspiciously. Allen was charged with possession of two vials of crack cocaine. He was arrested and transported to Union County Police headquarters where he was released after being processed and given a copy of his court date and charge.
