Shining Stars is a non-profit tax-exempt group organized in 2012 by a staff of volunteers and comprised of Cranford special needs students who love to act, sing and dance The group provides an avenue for these special children to enhance their theatrical skills and to participate in months of practices and rehearsals in preparation for a night of true entertainment. The group strives for inclusion and their goal is to educate and raise awareness and funds to enhance the lives of people with developmental disabilities. Most of all we strive to give these amazing, talented children a platform of their own to truly shine, which isn’t always possible within a mainstream environment. Over the past several months our children have been working very hard to give their audience the most amazing show possible.
