The movie stars a New Jersey native.

LINDEN, NJ — A New Jersey restaurant recently made its way onto Academy Award-winner Ron Howard's plate for its use in an upcoming movie.

"30 Burgers" at 510 East Saint Georges Ave. was transformed earlier this month into "Wayne's Burgers" as a backdrop for "Alone at Dawn," Mayor Derek Armstead shared.

"Alone at Dawn" is set to be released later this year or in early 2027.

Howard's career across television and movies began at a young age, starring as a child in "The Andy Griffith Show" and "Happy Days," the latter of which he won a Golden Globe for in 1978 alongside Henry Winkler as "The Fonz."

As a director, Howard took home both "Best Director" and "Best Picture" honors for "A Beautiful Mind" in 2001.

Hathaway grew up in Millburn and Short Hills, and graduated from Millburn High School in 2000. The Hollywood "A-Lister" took classes and performed at the Paper Mill Playhouse and has returned on numerous occasions to film projects in the Garden State.

In 2022, she took to the streets of South Amboy to film mystery thriller, "Eileen," donning a blonde wig in at least one outdoor scene in front of a bar. Filming also took place in Paramus, Jersey City, Metuchen, Sandy Hook, and Cranford.
