The Friends of the Cranford Public Library are pleased to welcome back harpist and multi-instrumentalist William Jackson. Mr. Jackson hails from Glasgow and has been at the forefront of Scottish traditional music for nearly 30 years. In addition to his stature as one of Scotland’s leading harpists and multi-instrumentalists, he is an internationally renowned composer. Mr. Jackson was a founding member of Ossian in 1976, which became one of Scotland’s best-loved traditional bands. The band, which influenced a generation of musicians, toured the U.S. and Europe extensively. Admission to the program is free and all are welcome. For questions about the program, call the Cranford Public Library at 908-709-7272, or send an email to library@cranfordnj.org.
