Lucky Is Cranford's Pet Of The Week

Meet Lucky! He has been chosen as Cranford Patch's Pet Of The Week. Nominate your pet!

CRANFORD, NJ — Meet Lucky! He has been chosen as Cranford Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"I want to nominate Lucky because he is a rescue from a park in Elizabeth by the school I was subbing at. His back story is that a teacher told me some people pulled up in a car and tied this fellow to a tree and left his food also.

He then asked me to walk him up and down the street to see if anyone is looking for him... obviously he was abandoned. So the school said if I didn't take him right then and there they had to call the shelter. I got coverage for my class and as they say the rest is history.

He's been an adoptive Cranfordian now for 5 years. Xoxo he loves kisses, any kind of food, snuggles under blankets, and to run."
