Man Hit By His Own Car During Burglary At Fast Food Restaurant In Union County: Police
The man was pushed out of his door by the suspect.
ELIZABETH, NJ — A man was hit by his own vehicle while someone stole his car, city spokesperson Ruby Contreras said.
On Thursday night, the man parked and went into the Sonic restaurant at 573 Spring St. to pick up food.
When he left the building, he noticed someone was stealing his car.

The man opened the front left door and was pushed back out by another man who was driving at the time. He was then run over by the car as the suspect drove away.
According to Contreras, the man was taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
