CRANFORD, NJ — Meet Milo! He has been chosen as Cranford Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"This is our rescue dog named Milo. Our daughter found him through Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue almost seven years ago, when he was four months old. It took awhile for him to feel secure in our home, as he had been moved around a lot.

Our daughter has since gone off to college so now he is our baby. Milo loves his backyard on Holly Street and his stuffed animals - always has a toy in his mouth! He is very smart but quite headstrong and needs a job, as he is part shepherd and/or border collie.

Milo was the subject on our holiday card two years ago (I am a portrait photographer); he enjoyed posing for me as he got so many treats!"
