No Headlights Lead To Drug Arrest: Cranford Police
George Haley was charged with possession after a motor vehicle stop, police said.
CRANFORD, NJ - A 22-year-old Roselle man was arrested and charged with possession of under 50g or marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on Feb. 16.
According to authorities, patrolman Robert Chamra stopped a 2002 Toyota on North Avenue East and Carpenter Place for driving without headlights on.
Following an investigation on scene, Chamra arrested the driver, George Haley, for suspected marijuana found inside the vehicle, police said. He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date.

In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for driving without headlights on and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
