No Turn Signal Leads To Drug Arrest: Cranford Cops
Deshawn Claiborne was stopped on Meeker Street for turning without using a signal, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 26-year-old East Orange man was arrested and charged with drug possession after a motor vehicle stop on Feb. 5, police said.
According to authorities, Patrolman Christopher Gross stopped a 2006 Mitsubishi on Lincoln Avenue East and Meeker Street for not signaling a turn. Following an investigation at the scene, Gross arrested the driver, Deshawn Claiborne, for suspected marijuana found inside the vehicle, police said. Claiborne was processed and charged with possession of under 50g of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date, police said.
In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for failing to signal a turn and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
