Pair Of Cocaine Arrests On Hayes Street: Cranford Police
Matthew King and Dylan Marino were stopped as part of DWI checkpoint, police said.
CRANFORD, NJ - A 30-year-old Linden man and a 23-year-old Edison man were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on June 1, according to the Cranford Police Department.
According to authorities, Patrolman Gregory Federici stopped a 2011 Honda on Centennial Avenue as part of a DWI Checkpoint. Following an investigation on scene, Federici arrested the driver and a passenger, Edison's Dylan Marino and Linden's Matthew King respectively, for suspected cocaine found in their possession, police said.
They were processed and provided with Superior Court appearance dates. In addition, Marino was issued motor vehicle summonses for tinted windows, a view obstruction and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
