Pair Of Passengers Charged With Drug Possession: Cranford Cops
Tiher Black and Ijah Jones were arrested after a motor vehicle stop, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A pair of 20-year-old man from Irvington were arrested and charged with possession of under 50g of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on Jan. 8, according to the Cranford Police Department.
Police said that Patrolman Timothy Handy stopped a 2007 BMW on the Garden State Parkway 136 Exchange for an inoperable headlamp. Following an investigation at the scene, Handy arrested two passengers in the car, Tiher Black and Ijah Jones, for suspected marijuana found inside the vehicle, police said.
They were processed and provided with Municipal Court appearance dates. In addition, the driver was issued a motor vehicle summons for maintenance of lamps, police said.
