Patrick Lynch Candidate for Cranford Board of Education

My name is Patrick Lynch and I am currently a Cranford Board of Education member who is seeking election on November 8, 2016. The reason I am interested in continuing to serve on the Cranford Board of Education is simple: I want to continue to give back to a school system that has benefited my children and I want to play a role in the ongoing effort to make the Cranford Public School District the best that it possibly can for the children of our community.

I am a 16+ year resident of Cranford who, along with my wife who is a teacher, have two children currently attending schools within the District. As a parent and current Board member, I am passionate about supporting policies that lead to high academic achievement while at the same time, ensuring our children are provided with an environment that promotes well-rounded individual development. I have the upmost respect for the District’s teachers and administrators and given the opportunity, I look forward to working with them to drive student success. I also maintain an awareness of my responsibility to the taxpayers of Cranford and as such, will look to ensure that the Cranford Board of Education operates in a fiscally responsible manner.

By way of background, I am a Vice President within the human resources organization for a Fortune 500 financial services company. From current and prior job responsibilities, I have garnered in-depth experience that I believe benefits the Cranford Board of Education. My background is complimented by an undergraduate degree in Business Management and a graduate degree in Human Resource Management.

If elected, I pledge to always do what is best for the children and residents of Cranford. Please vote “Column 2” on November 8, 2016.
