PHOTOS: Modest Turnout For MusicFest Day Two
Rain, cold kept potential fairgoers home.
Cold weather and a bit of rain made for a small crowd at day two of the Union County Fair and MusicFest, but visitors were treated to views of a spectacular sunset in the west and a rainbow in the east.
"We played so well that we caused the rainbow," joked one member of the Flies, a Berkeley Heights-based band whose set on the Crossroads Stage coincided with the colorful sight.
"Yesterday, my ride was full," said an idle ride operator. "Must be the rain. I think this weekend will be crazy, though."
