Press Release: Follow the Yellow Brick Road to the Next Theater Project Jr. Performance

A young, local cast will present "The Wizard of Oz."

The Theater Project, a 17-year old Central New Jersey-based professional theater company, will end its summer program with a weekend of public performances of “The Wizard of Oz” from Aug. 19-21 in Cranford.

Directed by Mary Iannelli, Theater Project Jr. is a company of area youths ages 10 to 16 who have been rehearsing and learning theatrical arts all summer through an extended camp workshop and rehearsal period.

Cast members include: Leeza Alexandre of Clark; Ginger Allcock of Cranford; Aly Cohen of Springfield; Grace Kallensee of Cranford; Adam Kaunfer of Springfield; Dana Kyle of Cranford; James, Mark and Pat Lynch of Cranford; Kelly, Tyler and Patrick McMahon of Cranford; Art and Mikey Mezzo of Mountainside; Olivia Milano of Berkeley Heights; Elizabeth Molfetto of Cranford; Alexis, Jason and Cassidy Page of Piscataway; Ashleigh and Amanda Poszyler of Cranford; Nina Randazzo of Cranford and Sarah Wolfram of Berkeley Heights.

Performances will take place at the Jardine Academy, 75 Rod Smith Place, in Cranford. Performance times are Aug. 19 and 20 at 8 p.m. and Aug. 21 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and $13 at the door. Student tickets with ID are $10 at all times.
