Public Bike Auction Saturday In Cranford

CRANFORD, NJ — Need a bike? The Cranford Police Department will be auctioning off bicycles which came into their possession through abandonment or failure of owners to claim them on Saturday.

The public auction will be held on March 11 at 8 a.m. at the Cranford Police Department, 8 Springfield Avenue in Cranford.

All bicycles on the list are offered in strictly "as is" condition, with no representation as to condition or fitness for any particular purpose. The bikes may be examined before the auction at the Cranford Police Department at 7:45 a.m. on March 11.

Purchase must be made by cash or certified check. A 10 percent deposit must be given at time of auction. Balance must be paid by 4 p.m. same day.
