Hearing On Proposed Union County College Cell Tower Cancelled
Verizon and Union County College were scheduled to present their application to the Cranford Zoning Board.
CRANFORD, NJ - Verizon and Union County College will no longer present their application to the Cranford Zoning Board for a new cell tower on Monday as the meeting has been cancelled.
The hearing, originally scheduled for last month, will now be rescheduled for another time according to officials.
The proposed plans for the tower has caught the attention of residents in Cranford, Westfield and beyond. Both Cranford Mayor Patrick Giblin and Westfield Mayor Shelley Brindle have commented on the application over the past two months, encouraging those interested to attend meetings.
