Hesham Elsisi charged with carrying suspected crystal methamphetamine and marijuana.

CRANFORD, NJ - A busted brake lamp led to the arrest of 28-year-old Rahway resident Hesham Elsisi on drug charges Oct. 26, according to the Cranford Police Department.

Officials said Patrolman Robert Chamra stopped Elsisi in his 1998 Mazda on Centennial Avenue at the intersection of Raritan Road for a brake having lamp out.

Following an investigation at the scene, Chamra arrested Elsisi for suspected crystal methamphetamine and marijuana located inside the vehicle, police said. He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for maintenance of lamps and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
