'Reckless' Driver Smashes Into Building: Cranford Police

Jessica Graham parked her Chevy somewhere other than a parking space on Jackson Drive, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 37-year-old Staten Island woman parked her Chevy into the side of a Jackson Drive building, according to the Cranford Police Department.

On Nov. 24, Patrolman Brian Wagner responded to a one-car motor vehicle crash on Jackson Drive. Following an investigation at the scene, Wagner arrested the driver, Jessica Graham, for driving her 1975 Chevrolet into a building causing significant damage, police said. There were no injuries as a result of the crash, police said.

Graham was charged with criminal mischief, causing or risking widespread injury or damage as well as reckless driving, careless driving, willfully disabling a motor vehicle on private property, failure to observe a traffic lane, and parking on a sidewalk, police said.

She was processed, provided with a Superior Court appearance date and transported to the Union County Jail pending a detention hearing, police said.
