Red Light Violation Leads To Drug Arrest: Cranford Cops
Robert Jones-Goldstein was charged with possession, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 20-year-old Elizabeth man was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on Jan. 16, according to the Cranford Police Department.
According to authorities, Patrolman John Rattigan a 1996 Nissan was stopped on North Avenue East and John Street for failing to observe a red traffic signal. Following an investigation at the scene, Rattigan arrested a passenger, Robert Jones-Goldstein, for suspected marijuana found on his person, police said.
He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, the driver was issued a motor vehicle summons for failing to observe a red traffic signal, police said.
