Seatbelt Violation Leads To Drug Arrest: Cranford Police
Khayri Hudeen was charged with possession.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 22-year-old Elizabeth man was arrested and charged with possession after a traffic stop, according to the Cranford Police Department.
On Nov. 29, Patrolman Ali Muhammad stopped a 2001 Dodge on North Avenue East and Centennial Avenue for a seatbelt violation, police said. Following an investigation at the scene, Muhammed arrested the driver, Khayri Hudeen, for suspected marijuana located inside the vehicle. In addition to being charged with possession of under 50g pf marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for a seatbelt violation and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date.
