Seatbelt Violation Leads To Syringe Arrest
James Molloy was charged with possession of a hypodermic syringe, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 28-year-old Cranford man was charged with possession of hypodermic syringe after a motor vehicle stop, according to the Cranford Police Department.
On Dec. 3, Patrolman Ryan Gerrity stopped a 2002 Honda on North Avenue East and John Street for a seatbelt violation, police said. Following an investigation at the scene, Gerrity arrested the driver, James Molloy, for a hypodermic syringe found in his possession, police said. In addition, he was issued a motor vehicle summons for a seatbelt violation.
He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date.
