Shoplifting Charge Leads To Drug Arrest: Cranford Police

Myer Armstrong, Christopher Grullon, Marc Greene, and Pathani Cosmeus were arrested on South Avenue East.

CRANFORD, NJ - Four men arrested for shoplifting led to an additional charge for drug possession, according to the Cranford Police Department.

On Dec. 5 police units were dispatched to a business on the 200 block of South Avenue East for a shoplifting call, officials said. After an investigation Myer Armstrong, 21, of Bayonne, Christopher Grullon, 20, of Hillside, Marc Greene, 18, of Bayonne and Pathani Cosmeus, 21, of Linden were arrested by Patrolman Joseph Sherbo and charged with shoplifting. In addition, Armstrong was charged with suspected marijuana and paraphernalia found in his possession, police said.

They were all processed and provided with Municipal Court appearance dates.
