Staged Play Reading of "You Make My Frame Shake!" - Twelve Love Comedies Set at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, The Theater Project will be present a staged reading of You Make My Frame Shake!, by Luigi Jannuzzi. You Make My Frame Shake! is a selection of 12 love comedies set at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. An award-winning playwright of one-act theater pieces, as well as full-length plays, Luigi Jannuzzi combines romantic/absurdist comedy with serious themes of love, truth, and the need to rise above it all. His one-act plays, such as “A Bench at the Edge” and “The Barbarians Are Coming,” provide staple fare for college productions.The Theater Project is an acclaimed, New Jersey-based professional theater group and the winner of two New Jersey Tony Awards. Following the reading, the play will be discussed by the audience, the director, the actors, and Mr. Jannuzzi. Admission is free and all are welcome. The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Cranford Public Library.
