Sugar Is Cranford's Pet Of The Week

CRANFORD, NJ — Meet Sugar! He has been chosen as Cranford Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Meet Sugar! I rescued him from an abusive owner when he was only 2 years old. He is now 10! He is lovable and very protective of his family.

He has bought so much laughter and joy to us. He truly has over come a lot of obstacles when it comes to people and trust issues. Just the fact that he survived his abuse and is so lovable to us, is enough to deserve to be your Pet of the Week."

Do you think your pet should be Cranford's Pet of the Week?

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com. Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the part of town you're from. You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
