Suspect Sought In Rash Of Cranford Car Burglaries
Since July 1, Cranford has reported 28 overnight burglaries to unlocked cars in both the north and south sections of town.

CRANFORD, NJ — Cranford Police released a video of a suspect wanted in connection with several car burglaries on Monday in the township.
Around 2 a.m. the person in the video was seen in the area of several car burglaries, Cranford Police report. (Watch the video below)
Additionally, Cranford Police are reminding "all residents and visitors to remove any valuables and lock their cars whenever they are unattended."

Since July 1, Cranford has had 28 reported motor vehicle burglaries taking place on both the north and south sections of the township. All of the vehicles were left unlocked, Detective Lt. Edward R. Davenport said.
"We disseminated the current video we were given by a resident in hopes the public could assist with our investigation," Davenport said. "Secondary, we want to make our residents aware of the crimes and to have them secure their vehicles each night."

During the thefts, suspect(s) have entered the unlocked vehicles stealing loose change and personal items left inside.
